  1. Heat dutch overn/soup pot over medium high heat. Add ground beef and onion and cook, stirring occasionally until beef is browned. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Drain excess fat.

  2. Add spaghetti sauce, 6 cups chicken broth, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, balsamic vinegar, sugar, herbs, salt, pepper and noodles. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer and cook until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally (approximately 20-30 minutes).

  3. Discard bay leaf and stir in heavy cream and remaining chicken broth to reach desired consistency. Garnish individual servings with cheese.
